West White Rose Project - Subsea Tie-Back

Cenovus Energy Inc., on behalf of the West White Rose Project (WWRP) proponents, Cenovus, Suncor Energy Inc. (Suncor) and OilCo Newfoundland and Labrador, is leading the development of the WWRP within the White Rose field located in the Jeanne d’Arc Basin, 350 km east of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The WWRP will be developed through a fixed drilling platform consisting of a concrete gravity structure (CGS), integrated topsides facilities, and subsea tie back infrastructure connecting to the SeaRose FPSO.

TechnipFMC scope of work consists of supply and installation of subsea equipment including flexible subsea control umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) and subsea structures to connect the fixed drilling platform to the existing SeaRose FPSO subsea infrastructure in approximately 120m of water. Installation will occur in the summer of 2024 and 2025.
